Camp Moment

            Camp Moment

I’m so -”pant”- tired. I feel like my legs are going to fall off. I’ve been pedaling so super fast on the mini red mountain bike around the tall, towering trees for what feels like years. Finally we had a little break. I got my drink bottle “gulp”  I took a deep breath “ahaaaa”.  I could smell the freshness of nature and I could taste the clean, fresh air floating around. The birds sounded very calm and soothing like you were strolling through a very green, tropical forest. I felt like I was dreaming… but I wasn’t.

Before today I couldn’t but look at me now! I am 100% proud of myself. Our instructor Sam called us back because he was going to give us instructions to ride on the ramps. As I listened I thought that riding on the ramps might be a bit too much, so I kept on riding around the pine forest. I looked down at the handles to change gear… “BAM!” Who put that tree there?

The Log Cabin

        The Log Cabin

As I walked through the chocolaty dirt path of the undisturbed forest I could hear the calm noise of the waterfall as it dripped onto the rocks. I could see the big area between the trees as I heard the echoes of the cicadas chirping in trees.

As I walked through the relaxing forest, the trees were shaped like an archway with a triangle at the end. I could hear the birds chirping like the angels were singing me a lullaby from heaven. Oh no… The path split into 2 ways, which one should i take!!??? I start to take the one on the left but then I think to myself… “Actually I’ll take the one on the right… But what if the correct one is the left one?” So I start to move to the left like I am being controlled by a remote.

Finally… I arrived at the cabin I was looking for. It had a snow roof with a calm porch. It wasn't any ordinary cabin, it was a mouselike log cabin because the shape and size of it was as small as a mouse house. The grass was mellow green while the colour of the cabin was creamy brown! I could feel the warmth of the air as it glided across the woods.

I made my way to the front door...
